“I cannot say enough good things about Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd. Everyone is so friendly, and everyone is so good to me. LHGS is homey, and if you ask for anything you always get a very nice reply. The meals are very good. I enjoy doing things and take part in everything – all the activities and going to church…everyone is so friendly and nice here and I just love it!”
Darlene was a nurse for many years working in nursing homes and hospitals, but says her preference was nursing homes saying ‘it was easier to get to know the people.’
