We are excited to announce an opening for a part-time Housekeeper at Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd! This position is approximately 24–30 hours per week, with a rotating schedule of 4 days one week and 3 days the next—no weekends! Shifts run from 7:00 AM to approximately 3:00 PM.
Pay: $16.42–$20.02 per hour (based on experience)
Benefits: This is a benefit-eligible position, with the potential to grow into a full-time, 40-hour per week role in Spring 2026.
What You’ll Do:
As a Housekeeper at LHGS, your role is essential to keeping our home clean, safe, and welcoming for our residents. Your responsibilities include:
- Performing cleaning and waste disposal procedures according to facility policy
- Assisting with the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment
- Reporting any equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team
- Dispensing housekeeping supplies such as soap and paper
- Following infection control procedures within the Housekeeping Department
- Learning and covering laundry procedures as needed
