We are excited to announce an opening for a full time Housekeeper at Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd! This position is approximately 30-40 hours per week—no weekends! Shifts run from 7:00 AM to approximately 3:30 PM.
Pay: $16.78–$20.45 per hour (based on experience)
Benefits: This is a full time benefit-eligible position
What You’ll Do:
As a Housekeeper at LHGS, your role is essential to keeping our home clean, safe, and welcoming for our residents. Your responsibilities include:
- Performing cleaning and waste disposal procedures according to facility policy
- Assisting with the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment
- Reporting any equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team
- Dispensing housekeeping supplies such as soap and paper
- Following infection control procedures within the Housekeeping Department
- Learning and covering laundry procedures as needed
